I am seeing progress!

I’ve been coming here for a worker’s comp injury and the process to get it set up was so easy. I’ve been to other PT clinics and no other clinic compares to this. Everyone is so professional and friendly, and the therapists are incredibly experienced. They’ve helped me so much already and I have seen a ton of progress. The front desk ladies are great as well. I recommend them to anyone who needs physical therapy!

I am walking again without a cane!

I’ve been able to get so much stronger after having an Achilles injury. In 3 Months, I went from crutches to cane to no aides at all. The Physical Therapists are very attentive and push you to meet your goals safely.

Polite, patient & professional!

The Receptionist is very polite and patient and always has a smile. My Physical Therapist was very polite and understanding of my pain. She took her time with me and the exercises she asked me to do, but she also challenged me to go just a little further with the exercises. It was a great experience. Thank you to the Receptionist and my Physical Therapist.

I am stronger and without pain!

The physical therapists at Hands of Hope have been tremendously helpful. I have severe scoliosis and was in constant pain before I started PT, and within a few weeks my pain is gone and I’m feeling much stronger. The physical therapists at this location are exceptionally knowledgeable and patient. They are not only helpful when it comes to stretching and strengthening, but also with sharing information about my condition and lifestyle changes I can implement to maintain physical health. I’d recommend them to anyone!

Caring & helpful!

Hands of Hope Physical Therapy in Staten Island are truly a wonderful group of people. They are caring, helpful and always ready to help you. Since it is a smaller environment, something I prefer it is as if you have your own personal Physical Therapist. Everyone who works there are friendly and supportive. Always saying good job, excellent work. Reminds you to do your exercises at home as well. Place is clean, music is soothing which helps you relax. Truly recommend them.

They listened to my problem & came up with a recovery plan!

Excellent staff with a doctor that is very engaging. She asked the right questions. She listened to me very lovely person. And the front desk staff was very polite, especially the young lady that laughed at my jokes and the physical therapy staff. Knows their business. They treat you like family!

Hands of Hope on Bedford Avenue and all their staff have literally became my second family!! I started receiving PT from them late November last year until present and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made! I travel the distance 3 times weekly to be seen by them specifically even though there’s closer options near me because they welcomed me and treated me like FAMILY! They’re always excited to see me and likewise! Continue doing amazing work it will not go unseen!

Supportive & caring!

I came to Hands of Hope after a bike accident with a hip and severe shoulder fracture. I feel the support I’ve received played a huge part in my recovery. The staff is super nice and friendly, but I’d like to give special mention to Saleha and Chaitali, who displayed a perfect balance between being caring and pushing me to the limit. I also liked the relaxed atmosphere and the flexibility in scheduling. An altogether nice experience!

Professional, caring & knowledgeable!

Beautiful space, friendly welcoming staff….I feel a sense of shared responsibility in the office. Meaning that even though one therapist is taken care of you that everyone is always looking at you and making sure that you’re okay….. They will notify your therapist when you are finished with your exercise or if you need them for further questions. I definitely feel taken care of when I go to these locations. Hands of hope is the greatest!!!!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!

Friendly, professional & knowledgeable!

The place is wonderful. The front desk admin, Ereana, is very friendly and professional. She communicated with you like she knows you with a lovely smile. She makes you feel welcome all the time. The physical therapists, Ireen and Mai, are great and angels. All the pain goes away. They are professional. I hope all the best for those girls. I love them and they make me feel welcome every time.

The best physical therapy office in Staten Island! The staff and doctors are very friendly and helpful. The doctors there are very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful with chronic pain and any kind of pain. They always manage to give the best treatment. I tried many offices before, but this is by far the best. Whenever I would go I’d leave feeling much better and with my pain relieved. My daughters also went several times and they get amazing treatment and help. Thank you so much for everything. Highly recommended to everyone!

Since the first day I walked into Hands of Hope Physical Therapy Morris Park, I’ve been treated with respect, hospitality and care. The facility is always clean and the snacks are amazing lol. The therapist Aastha is one of a kind and the front desk is always helpful, they greet me by my name as I walk in the door and it makes me feel like family. I love this place and recommend it all across the board. I’m always excited to go to every session with a smile on my face. Shumaila is always helpful and going the extra for me and I appreciate her. I am seeing improvement!

I finally found the place that really has hope! Sneh and Sneha the two doctors are excellent in this work. When I came to this clinic for the first time, they immediately understood my situation and now I am being improved very quickly. For about 3 months, I have been to chiropractor and another physiotherapy with no effect at all. Thanks, Hands of Hope I am really in safe hands with these doctors and very happy that I found it. The place is very clean and the staff is very polite. You will not be disappointed!

I started coming here two years after my accident a little late I know lol, but I just wanna say I love this place I love the staff the vibe over all everyone so nice and helpful I truly enjoy coming to therapy. I love how they be on top of me making sure I’m doing all my exercises correctly I love the time they dedicate to me here I love this therapy place. Try them out I’m sure you guys would love it too! OMG….this is one THE BEST PT clinics I have ever been to and I’ve had PT at least twice in my life. The staff there are very friendly, professional, thorough, helpful and they are very interested in the health and wellness of their patients. I’ve been with them since 4/2023 at the Morris Park location and I look forward to all of my sessions. Their equipment is state of the art and their physical fitness exercises are easy and done at my pace and comfort. They are simply the best!!💯💯💯💯💯

2/24/24 was my first visit for therapy treatment for my right hand. Initial reception was very pleasant offering me coffee or a snack ; then met with therapist Edgar who was very informative of my treatment. He was very professional & pleasant making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed during the treatment for my hand. Edgar explained the treatment plan going forward and took the time to do so, which I feel is very important.

My 11 yr old son gets physical therapy for his knee at this location. They are the best. They are professional and so sweet. My son loves to go there. He dreads the day he ends all his sessions because he will miss his friends as he says. He loves William and Dr. Edgar.

I have been with hoh since 2020 before pandemic…..the therapist here are amazing I used to go to the one in long Island city but switched to one on 149th street bc it’s closer to me…….and the review I read on miss Miriam are true she’s the best only been there once but I look forward to my continued therapy there see you guys soon ❤️

I’ve only been to three physical therapy places, and this one was the best it’s small, quaint and personable. It’s one on one and they know you as a person not a client. We always go here for my physical therapy needs, and recommend it to other people.

Nice place for therapy, receptionist Mrs. Lucille and Dr. Patel are great people with great attitudes. Place is always clean and comfortable. Dr. Patel is an awesome therapist and is very attentive to your needs. I broke my shin in 2 places and wore a cast for 7 weeks(no surgery). Right out of the cast I started my therapy. Within 3 months my pain went from a 10 plus (GEESSHH) to about a 2. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hands of Hope!!!

The entire staff is wonderful. I suffered a stroke in 2021. Dr Patel is the fifth therapist I have seen since then. But the year has just begun and I’m already feeling better. Walking with furniture assistance I know he will have me walking again before this year is over. He’s very kind. He’s very polite and soft spoken.

I am using Hands of Hope for a knee problem. Prior to my appointment, they contacted me to confirm, ask questions, and then emailed me the paperwork so I could fill it out ahead of time. Upon my arrival, they were completely prepared for me and checked me in quickly. They have coffee and snacks available while you wait. The therapist collected me right on time and was very professional as he gathered information about my injury and current condition. He then had me make different moves and determined how best to proceed with my recovery. After the first visit, I can already feel improvement. He provided me a printout of my future schedule that we agreed on, as well as exercises for me to do at home. They even have a wesite with the recovery exercises that have videos of each move, and a tracker to make sure I’m completing them. I look forward to my continued visits to get my knee back in shape. I definitely recommend Hands of Hope for any Physical Therapy needs.

My visits have been really good. I am feeling much better than I was on my first day. The therapist does a great job pin pointing the area that needs attention. He is really good at what he does . He very attentive and very helpful and kind.

This was one of the best Physical Therapy places I visited since my accident in 2022. The reception staff are wonderful. The physical therapists are thoughtful and meticulous in their care and knowledge of the body.

I will start off with Amazing! Chris the office manager was pleasant and always acknowledged you when he passed by you while sitting in the waiting room. Before Lucille opened mouth, her smile says “Welcome”. She was always pleasant and made you feel comfortable. Being a senior I get to visit many doctor’s offices. This office is at the top of my list for courtesy and professional. Checking in was always simple. Now, to speak of the Miracle Worker. Over my life span I have had physical therapy a lot. Dr. Patel exceeded my expectations. There were days I would drag in but left with a bounce in my step. I have completed my therapy there but will continue to use his methods because they do relieve the pain. I did not mean for this review to be this long but what can you say about an office that is number one in my opinion. Thank you to everyone at Hands of Hope for a wonderful experience! 👏 Belinda L

I first came into Hands of Hope Physical Therapy around August due to a torn ACL and Meniscus. This was my first ever experience on having to do any sort of physical therapy and I must say it was a great experience to say the least. Chiara (DPT) did an excellent job explaining how my injury first occurred and how to prevent another injury from happening. Her and Mike (PTA), both guided me on how to do these exercises that not only helped strengthen my legs for surgery but physically challenged me as a young athlete like myself. They made my exercises really fun/challenging and would sometimes join me in one of the exercises that was timed. They even made it more interesting one time and had me do one of the challenging exercises with another patient that had a similar injury which was another memorable experience. Chiara, Mike, and Megan don’t just do their job but they genuinely care about their patients journey to recovery. These are wonderful people that check in with you and make you feel right at home. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

People are actually hands on with you and guide you through the whole session and I felt like I always knew what I’m doing and if I was doing something wrong the team would immediately correct me. Really professional people seriously. 10/10 would recommend

I say in one word this place is EXCELLENT! Everyone is so friendly and I feel like it’s like a family here. Least to say I am so happy coming here.i always have good time here and am feeling much much better. Very nice and clean. I feel very comfortable here, I always enjoy my sessions here with the therapist Chaitali and the other lovely assistants.

The staff here is very personable. They helped me tremendously over a month’s time. What helped me most was the massages and electrodes for my lower back. Will definitely return if discomfort returns.

Excellent center. I came to this place for physical therapy for my injured ankle. All of the therapists were very kind and easy to talk to. They constructed a set of exercises targeted at the problem and watched carefully to ensure the load wasn’t too heavy and adjusted it when it was. At the end of each day either Lana or Samy would stretch out both the ankle and the leg as well, and make sure whether i felt like I needed heat or ice. Jackie also specifically constructed a routine for me to follow at home which greatly sped up the recovery process. Overall all of the therapists were very skilled and I would highly reccomend this clinic.

My favorite PT office ever!!! Dr Sami, Lana, Jackie always make my experience so pleasant and take care of me. I, like many great people of this planet, have had the fortunate opportunity to be diagnosis with chronic back pain since my teen years. It’s difficult to remember a time when I would be able to get up from bed with ease. Thankfully, I was recommended to Hands of Hope for physical therapy. Although we cannot change back the hands of time; under their direct care and supervision, I feel like I have committed the ultimate robbery. I have stolen a newer, fresher body. The amazing staff there are dedicated to its clients and helping them improve and recover. Their commitment is under-appreciated and deserves the upmost recognition. To all the staff and parties involved, I would like to sincerely commend all your handwork and would recommend giving Hands of Hope an opportunity in helping treat your aches and pains.

I had lost my belief in PT after having been disappointed by others before but decided to try again and am so happy that I did. Hands of Hope in Whitestone is fantastic. From the initial interview to the caring staff. They are welcoming…take their time with you …warm you up and apply tens machine followed by hands on massage/manipulation. They supervise and correct when needed during your exercises …which I find so important. Can’t say enough about Jackie and Mark. Feeling so much better than when I began. Thank you so much.

Writing on the behalf of my grandma… she thoroughly enjoyed her time here and has improved so much with the help of Dr. Jackie. Dr. Jackie made the pain in her back decrease significantly and she is now able to move around with ease. I have been in hands of hope since 3 months and I have great experience at Astoria location . I have been treated by Dr. Eglal and she is highly professional, very informative and caring. I am highly satisfied with my recovery journey there and I recommend this place to anyone who seek medicine treatment and physical rehabilitation

I got treated at hands of hope (Astoria location) after bilateral knee replacement. I met Dr.Eglal who was so professional and helpul. I improved from being on wheelchair to walking independent with no pain . Dr. Eglal used to guide me through the best excercise that fit my condition. She motivated me a lot and pushed me to work out even in my down day , she was my psychological support. She explained my plan of care in details and guided me throughout all the phases of recovery. I give this place 5 stars and recommend Hands of Hope to anyone seeking for medical and professional therapy.

I had a stroke I have been to so many other therapy places and was unhappy with my treatment. However when I came to hands and hope I started to see improvement. I wasn’t to thank Rahma is physical therapy Aide and the therapist is Eglal thank you very much for the hard work and dedication ❤️

The service was exceptional I felt a relief after my session. Megan at the front desk was very helpful and respectful she always has a smile and greets her guests. I’m sad that Dhara isn’t no longer working at the Astoria location and would love her to come back she’s very professional, patient and understanding but overall everyone was great. Dhara’s personality makes you enjoy therapy and makes you want to come back to the facility often. It’s nice to have a professional person in the back makes you feel comfortable. Please bring back Dhara to Astoria!!!

I had a very good experience with Hands of Hope. I had very bad lower back pain which deteriorated to the point of pain almost all day every day. They worked with me strengthening the muscles and the physical therapy in only 14 sessions has brought a huge improvement. Everyone was very nice and knew what they were doing. Don’t live with pain, go see them!

Exceptional PT Office from A to Z. They do really care about you and very carefully apply their experienced service and almost one on one.

Surgeon told me that I have to do Surgury for my bilateral hip tear and arthritis but Hands of Hope Physical therapist took my pain away in 6 weeks !

Highly recommended

This is by far the best PT office I have been to. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Therapist Julia has done miracles for my ankles and shoulders. My ankles have never felt stronger since my treatments. She has walked me through many exercises that work out muscles I did not even know existed.

The manual therapy and stim machine have also been great help for my body and I now wake up with no shoulder pain and ability to engage in all the sports I love due to the new founded strength in my ankles (despite multiple ankle sprains in the past).

The front desk makes it super easy to schedule and reschedule appointments. A simple text allows me to schedule my treatments based on my schedule.

I highly recommend this PT office and am very appreciative of the staff.

Best place for your recovery!

Clean, new, and a great spot with friendly staff. They are not overwhelming like some physical therapy locations. Low-key, but effective equipment. Knowledgeable staff. Easy to schedule an appointment. Water and coffee are a bonus. Seems like a no-judgment zone.

On my very first visit here, everyone was friendly. I got so much help from the receptionist and she was so friendly. The therapists are really great and really know what you need as far as your therapy goes. They inviting and friendly and communicate very well with the patients.

My experience with Hands Of Hope has been a great one. They keep the place sanitized and smelling fresh, which is a major plus for me. From the receptionist to the physical therapists, everyone is professional, knowledgeable, and polite.

I highly recommend Hands of Hope Physical Therapy, the staff is great they help with anything I need they’re patient and respectful, the therapy was a challenge at first because I wasn’t used to it but as time went on I can definitely feel it working and feel myself getting better. The location (837 E 149th st) is convenient and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Wonderful experience .the physical therapist is knowledgeable and felt a lot better after just one session

I arrived for my second appointment on Sept 5 at 9 am. The door was open but no one was there. This is not a good beginning. It is now 9:10 by their clock. Today is my husband’s birthday. I’m leaving at 9:15 if no one appears.

This is a great little facility! I look forward to my visits. The therapist is so kind and helpful, she answers all of my questions and she helps stitch together a routine that will work for my life. The receptionist is also so sweet! It’s not too crowded because it is a smaller location which I prefer. Sometimes I come and it’s a little busy, but many days are dead quiet. You will like it here!

I no longer have knee pain!

I came to the clinic for my knee pain and I feel the difference in my knee. Shreya and Claude are very easy going. They understand the needs of the patient and explain everything in detail and PT sessions have been great so far.

They are the best for physical therapy!

Dr. Marina and her aide Chelsea are an amazing team! I feel comfortable in the office and they are attentive to me during my sessions. They do a great job of encouraging me to push harder in my sessions, They are also gentle and encourage me to take breaks, adjusting the exercises accordingly if I am experiencing any discomfort.

Great music, calm environment, great sense of humor, and very kind.

I no longer have ankle pain!

Had a great experience. First time physical therapy and it was good. No pain at all. Learn different exercises to loosen ankle. Can’t wait for next visit. Staff was great.

A comfortable environment for your recovery!

I love coming to this Hands of Hope location! I was super nervous about starting physical therapy but the team here makes it easy. Not only do you feel comfortable in the space, it’s a fun community where the other patients, therapists, and assistants are rooting you on. This has been especially true in my experience with Janhavi, Sneh, and Matthew. Not only do they give me the exercises and stretches step by step, but they answer all of my questions as to what muscles we are working, how to do the exercises best, and how it helps fix my injury. The space is clean and on the smaller side, so you’re not overwhelmed with tons of people and equipment. (Shout out to Andro at the desk for also being so kind and helpful when scheduling and working through forms!)

Caring & knowledgeable!

I’ve never attended physical therapy before coming to Hands of Hope Physical Therapy this month. As a dancer and art student I’m constantly having to use my body as a tool. The care here is very intentional and consultation-based. Both Matthew and Dr. Shria have been so proactive in terms of their practice. If you’re in Bed-Stuy check this place out!

Really enjoyed my physical therapy here. The PTs are super knowledgeable and friendly. They always went the extra mile to ensure I’m on the right track to recovery and made sure they’re pushing me enough but not beyond discomfort. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Professional, knowledgeable & friendly!

The doctor and two therapists here are so caring and careful about how each and every exercise affects the parts of the body. Even when there are multiple patients in the therapy room, the doctor and therapists are watching all of us. They are continually monitoring each patient so that no exercise induces pain by gently repositioning the back or an arm or a leg.

I have never had such a pleasant experience with any other physical therapies in both Staten Island and Manhattan.

In Manhattan, the therapy simply did nothing, and I had to go a different route for pain relief. In Staten Island, at multiple therapy centers over the years, the therapists were all the same: unskilled and over-anxious young men who caused me, a female senior citizen, undo pain and made my particular ailment each time feel worse.

Hands of Hope has given me a new lease on life. I feel so much better. I have more confidence in myself that in my older years, I will continue to lead a more healthful lifestyle.

I want to give a shout-out to the woman at the window in the Staten Island location where I receive my treatment. Thank you, Ereany! Your friendliness and warmth brought me in to your facility. Your positive attitude and, of course, the professional and highly-skilled doctor and therapists, keep me looking forward to coming back for more.

Shreya took care of me when I was having difficulty breathing from pain. After three sessions I felt amazing. She definitely has the hands of hope! Recommend this place 100%! Love Matthew’s music taste too 🙂
