Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Shiv Patel completed his undergraduate studies at Mercer University in Macon, GA with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration.

He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, DPT, at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia. Dr. Patel treats musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries and sports injuries rehabilitation. 

Dr. Patel works with different age groups utilizing a holistic approach and incorporates evidence-based practice when creating a specialized plan of care. 

His treatments are guided by manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, specific therapeutic exercises, and functional movements to help his patients achieve optimal results when returning back to sports and their daily lives.
