Summary
My educational background has provided me with extensive knowledge and practical skills in physiotherapy. During my training, I completed relevant modules in neurology, kinesiology, orthopedics, cardiorespiratory, exercise therapy, geriatrics, women's health, anatomy, physiology, histology, and pharmacology. I also received physiotherapy clinical training in sports injury, neurology, medicine and surgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, and cardiorespiratory. My MSc dissertation,
"Comparison of Dance Movement Therapy and Core-Stabilization Exercises on Selected Outcome Parameters Among Programmers with Non-Specific Low Back Pain," was supervised by Professor S.R.A. AKINBO and Dr.A.I Aiyegbusi. I have gained valuable experience working in different settings, including private practice and hospital environments.
My most recent experience as a physiotherapist with Physioplus and Associates in Lagos, Nigeria, enabled me to diagnose, assess, and treat patients with various conditions, including neurological, neuromusculoskeletal, and cardiovascular diseases. I was also responsible for educating patients and their relatives on healthy
lifestyle practices and injury prevention. In addition, I maintained and updated relevant documentation associated with patient care and worked within a multidisciplinary team with a focus on patient-centered care.
