Stroke Recovery Program - improve your overall quality of life with physical therapy

Stroke Recovery

Should you Consider our Stroke Recovery Program?

The goal of stroke rehabilitation is to help reestablish the brain body connection, assisting in regaining and relearning abilities that have been impaired after experiencing a stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) also known as a mini stroke. Stroke rehabilitation focuses on regaining independence and improving overall quality of life.

The severity of stroke complications and each person’s ability to recover vary widely, so each person’s recovery program is designed for them to reach their optimum rehabilitative potential.

There are many approaches to stroke rehabilitation depending on the area affected and the level of spasticity. The rehabilitation plan is always tailored to each individual case but most cases involve gait training, ADL sprecific training, exercises targeted to regaining ROM, strength and flexibility, electrotherapy targeted facilitating connections of nevous pathways and even aquatherapy interventions to improve balance, weight bearing tolerance, strength and mobility.
